Installation Helper.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Installation Helper to assist our installation team with elevator projects. This position requires flexibility, willingness to travel, and hands-on experience with tools and measurements.
Position Summary:
The Installation Helper will provide direct support to the elevator installation team by assisting with on-site installations, loading and unloading materials, handling tools and equipment as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the installation team with elevator assembly, installation, and repairs.
- Load, unload, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Measure and prepare materials accurately according to specifications.
- Maintain job sites clean, safe, and organized.
- Travel to different project sites throughout Florida as needed.
- Work closely with supervisors and team leaders to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Requirements:
- Flexible schedule required (depending on the project).
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida.
- Must be a handy person.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong measurement and material preparation skills.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, installation, fabrication, warehouse, or related hands-on work. (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general mechanical work. (preferred).
- Strong measurement skills.
- Experience in industrial, mechanical, or construction environments is a plus.
- Elevator industry experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay $21 - $25 p/h (based on experience).
